Orientation Sessions for Newcomers

We would like to announce that, Toronto Iranians Community Group with the collaboration of Parya Trillium Foundation are providing services for the Persian speaking newcomers in GTA.

The One To One orientation session for the newcomers is on every Tuesday from 10:00am to 5:00pm in Parya Foundation.

We also provide Group workshops every month. The workshops will

be posted On-line and it will be archived for future reference. This new feature provides participation for the people who can not attend the workshops.

Here are some of the topics that we cover:

How to apply for SIN, OHIP, and Canada Child Tax Benefit
How to open a bank account and apply for a credit card
How to register children in school
Where to shop
Rent an apartment and your rights as a tenant
How to apply for a driver’s license and buy a car
How to use public transportation
