This is a support group for shy people. Extreme shyness in psychological slang is called social phobia, or social anxiety. Social anxiety causes anxiety and panic attacks in certain social or performance situations such as public speaking, dealing with authority figures, being in groups or public places, talking to strangers, using the telephone, etc. This group is established by a fellow Iranian, Rama, and he facilitates the meetings.

THE GROUP MEETS EVERY SUNDAY AT 4 PM. They meet in the conference room of the Church of Resurrection(it is not affiliated with the church), 3700 Bloor Street West (1 Resurrection Drive), a few minutes walk west of Islington Subway Station. The entrance is through the Resurrection Drive main entrance.
